The Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), India`s state-of-the-art multirole supersonic aircraft is among the best in the world in its class. The LCA programme, primarily aimed at development of an advanced fighter for the Indian Air Force, started with building necessary infrastructure and technologies for the fourth generation aircraft.
